Official vs. Unofficial Club Events

 

For the purposes of safety, liability, and indemnity, it is important that the Wisconsin Hoofers create standards around what is considered an ‘official’ club-supported and club-sponsored trip and what constitutes an activity that is simply a group of Hoofers doing something together, but not in the name of Hoofers. Because Hoofers is a Wisconsin Union-sponsored collection of Clubs and affiliated Teams, activities done in the name of Wisconsin Hoofers carries an additional, expected standard of due diligence. Below are the particular standards, expectations, and specifics of each designation. Trips, events, and programs of Clubs and associated Teams must fall into one of the following two designations, and act accordingly without exception.​
